Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 18, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Nimivo ("Nimivo", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects information when you use the Nimivo website (nimivo.pl) and the Nimivo mobile application (the "App"). We are committed to collecting only the data we need to provide the service, and to never selling your personal data.
1. Data we collect
Website (waitlist)
- Email address — when you voluntarily join our waitlist. We use it only to notify you about the Nimivo launch and early-access offers. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email or by contacting us.
Mobile application
- Account information — if you create an account: email address and basic profile details you provide.
- User content — the tasks, reminders, calendar events and shopping lists you create, including the text (or transcribed voice) commands you enter. This content is stored on your device and, if you enable sync or use AI features, on our servers.
- Voice input — if you use voice commands, your speech is processed to convert it into text and create the items you requested. Voice input is processed only when you actively use the feature; the App does not listen in the background.
- Usage and diagnostics data — anonymous or pseudonymous statistics such as feature usage, crash reports and device type, used solely to improve stability and the product.
2. How we use your data
- To provide the core functionality of the App (creating and syncing your tasks, reminders, events and lists).
- To provide AI features: the text or voice commands you submit are processed by natural-language technology to understand your request. This may involve trusted third-party AI service providers acting as our data processors under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations. Your content is not used by us to advertise to you and is not sold.
- To send you service notifications you have requested (reminders, alerts).
- To communicate with you about the launch (waitlist) or support requests.
- To analyze aggregated usage and improve the product.
3. What we do NOT do
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not share your content for third-party advertising.
- We do not read your plans, tasks or lists except as needed to operate the service, comply with law, or with your explicit consent (e.g. a support request).
4. Legal bases (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your data on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (providing the App), your consent (waitlist emails, optional features), and our legitimate interests (security, product improvement, service communications).
5. Data sharing
We share data only with service providers that help us operate Nimivo — such as cloud hosting, analytics and AI processing providers — under data-processing agreements, and only to the extent necessary. We may also disclose data if required by law. If Nimivo is involved in a merger or acquisition, data may be transferred as part of that transaction under the same protections.
6. International transfers
Our service providers may process data outside your country, including outside the EEA. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. Data retention and deletion
- Waitlist emails are kept until you unsubscribe or until the launch campaign ends.
- App data is kept while your account is active. You can delete individual items at any time in the App.
- You can request full deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at the address below (or via the in-app option, where available). We will delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. EU/EEA users also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Poland: the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, UODO). To exercise any right, contact us at the email below.
9. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information appropriately.
10. Children
Nimivo is not directed at children under 13 (or the higher age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be announced in the App or on this website.
